Competitor entries to one of the golfing highlights of the sporting calendar are now OPEN with the 41st Championship making its debut appearance at the iconic Kingsbarns Golf Links!
As only one of two women’s Majors played outside the US, the Ricoh Women’s British Open is the most international field of the year with the 2016 line-up boasting players from 29 different nations, including world No. 1 Lydia Ko, Americans Lexi Thompson, Michelle Wie, Stacy Lewis and Paula Creamer as well as past champions Yani Tseng and Mo Martin and UK favourites Charley Hull, Catriona Matthew and Dame Laura Davies amongst others.

To be eligible for entry all you need is:
- Professional Status
- A playing handicap of +0.5 or better or overseas equivalent at date of entry (Tuesday 4 July 2017), or have been within the Women’s WAGR listing 1-1,000 during the week of entry.
